Brazilian operator Lider Aviacao has become the first in the country to take delivery of a HondaJet. The charter-ready aircraft has already flown ad hoc to Brasília and Rio de Janeiro.
Superintendent director of maintenance, charter and aircraft management Bruna Assumpção Strambi says: “The incorporation of the HondaJet into our fleet adds more versatility to the company and offers customers a unique experience aboard the most modern, fast, comfortable and quiet jet in its category.”
Lider Aviacao says it is the largest executive aviation company in Latin America. Founded 60 years ago, it has 1,000 employees and a fleet of more than 60 aircraft. With a presence at more than 20 operational bases in the main Brazilian airports, the company operates five business units: aircraft charter and management; aircraft sales; maintenance; airport services; and helicopter operations. Lider also offers aeronautical insurance brokerage services, flight simulator training and helicopter blade repairs.
