Why visit ACE ’25?
Comlux has reached the first anniversary of chartering its B777-200LR VIP aircraft of Crystal AirCruises, dubbed 'Crystal Skye'. The aircraft entered service on Comlux's Aruba AOC in August last year and has been chartered on behalf of Crystal AirCruises by OneAbove, the operator's charter sales division.
Crystal Skye has now completed close to 600 flight hours, landing in more than 35 cities and visiting every continent in the world, except Antarctica, in its first year of operation.
The B777-200LR VIP has been engaged on luxury tours and journeys where passengers can take advantage of its wide body interior equipped with the latest in entertainment and connectivity. Its 88 first-class seats are designed for maximum personal space and ergonomic comfort and convert to 180° lie-flat beds, while the VIP lounge at the front of the aircraft features a stand-up bar and four oval dining tables that allow passengers to share meals and socialise during flights. Cuisine is prepared by an executive chef in two galleys and served by a dozen well-trained cabin attendants.
Customers who have used the aircraft during the past year have included major sports teams, royal families, celebrities, casinos and high net worth individuals. The aircraft carried football teams to the World Cup in Russia, and was even used to celebrate the New Year: departing from Singapore, passengers turned back the clock and celebrated New Year's Eve twice on both sides of the international date line in Sydney, Australia, and Honolulu, Hawaii.
CEO Andrea Zanetto says: “We are extremely proud to have been operating the Crystal AirCruises B777-200LR VIP this past year. We have developed a great partnership with the team at Crystal AirCruises. We have extended our unique approach of 'customer at heart, performance in mind', by providing customers with the best quality service available in the VIP aviation industry. Our team is now preparing for the next set of exclusive travels during the fall and winter seasons.”
