Why visit ACE ’25?
After years of negotiation with Mercer County and the Trenton Mercer Airport Authority, New Jersey-based FlightServ has acquired a ground lease upon which it will construct a new FBO and hangar facility.
The ground lease is located at the end of Trenton Mercer airport's runway 34 off taxiways Foxtrot and Delta. The 22-acre parcel was formerly home to the Naval Warfare Center.
FlightServ, with the help of Bascon Engineering, plans to demolish the existing structure and construct a new facility on the land. The facility will include private corporate offices and 80,000 sq ft of corporate and transient hangar space. The hangar will be large enough to accommodate a Gulfstream 650ER and Bombardier's Global 7500. There will also be general aviation tie downs, a de-icing facility, jet fuel and avgas 100LL fuel on site, and a 44,000-gallon fuel farm.
“We are thrilled with the outcome of our negotiations and the plans in place for a premier facility,” says CEO Jon Gruelle. “We pride ourselves on being in tune with our customers' needs in order to provide an exceptional experience. The new facility is an extension of this promise to our guests by providing personalised services in an optimum location on the airport field.”
Located between Teterboro and northeast Philadelphia, FlightServ's FBO at Trenton Mercer helps guests land closer to prominent business and Princeton University without the congestion of other nearby metropolitan airports. It also provides hangar space for the greater New York area.
