JetSmarter experiences triple-digit growth in seat bookings
Extending its services to non-paying members has generated business volume in JetSmarter seat sales, driven through on-demand flight creation by crowdsourcing.

US online booking platform JetSmarter reports that its seat bookings have grown by 116 per cent year-on-year and shared flight frequency has increased by more than 20 per cent. This growth derives from on-demand flight creation where members and non-members alike can crowdsource flights on their own time.

Launched in 2013 as a members-only flight sharing service, the company has allowed non-members to create and share flights with other travellers without the commitment and annual fee of membership since June this year. As a result JetSmarter claims to have experienced four times month-over-month growth in the number of non-member seats booked on private jets.
