London Biggin Hill-based operator Interflight has made its Hawker 800B available for charter once more, following an extensive interior refurbishment. The aircraft is under no owner release, enabling flexibility and preventing last minute cancellations.
The Hawker has a capacity of eight passengers in five individual seats and one three-seat sofa. With up to six hours endurance, it can connect London with Cairo or Tel Aviv.
Ground operations manager Tom Masey says: "We're very excited to add this aircraft to our growing fleet, and with the extended opening hours at Biggin Hill, we're better equipped than ever to meet our customers' charter requirements. With no marking on or inside the aircraft, we can also offer bespoke branding opportunities."
The aircraft features a stand up cabin throughout, a separate baggage compartment, hot galley, bathroom facilities and a partition door between the galley and cabin for passenger privacy.
Masey continues: "The woodwork on the Hawker has been reconditioned, the seats have been upgraded and a new carpet has been laid down, all of which has dramatically improved the cabin environment. In terms of clientele, we will be targeting a more high-end executive audience following the refurbishment.
"Hawkers are extremely hard-working, capable aircraft that are built very well and have an excellent dispatch rate with great performance and range. We have owned and operated Hawkers for over 40 years now, making us one of the most experienced Hawker specialists in the industry. A few years ago we moved into maintaining Hawkers too, which has gathered third party interest and is proving fruitful."
Over the last 18 months Interflight has undergone a management and ownership change, thereby transitioning from a family business to one with a more corporate structure. As well as the charter and maintenance divisions, it also offers management, a department headed up by Paul Cantillon.
