Management and charter operator Jet Exchange, based at London Luton airport in the UK, has secured its Foreign Air Operator Certificate from the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA), enabling it to fly ad hoc charter missions between the UK and Canada.

Using a Challenger 604, Jet Exchange will be able to access eastern Canadian cities such as Toronto, Montreal and the capital Ottawa.

Says MD Ian Austin: “Canada is a very popular destination for business and leisure travellers, and our Challenger 604 provides a cost-effective option for discerning clients who want to arrive in the Great White North in style. Our crews are already very familiar with North America thanks to our US approvals, and this latest certification from the CTA means brokers can make the most of our expertise.”

Founded by Austin in 2007, the company operates under its own AOC and manages a PC-12 alongside the Challenger. It has been approved by the FAA since summer 2016 to conduct commercial US flights, and is a US Department of Homeland Security Approved Carrier.
