Lithuanian operator KlasJet has expanded its fleet with a midsize Hawker 800XP. KlasJet’s third aircraft, the Hawker is available for charter across Europe and can accommodate up to eight passengers. Built in 2000, its cabin was refurbished in 2013 with premium leather seats, high quality wood applications and a light colour scheme.

“Over the past few years we have consistently increased our oper-ations, despite market volatility,” states CEO Vitalij Kapitonov. “Our number of customers is growing, and we expect to reach 700 flights by the end of 2016. The key to our successful growth is exceptional flexibility. Although we have short to mid-range aircraft, our jets have already served such long-haul destinations as Indonesia, Iceland and Nigeria.”

KlasJet’s other aircraft are a CRJ200 and a Challenger 850, which can accommodate 10 and 14 passengers respectively. All of its jets are operated under management programmes.

Adds Kapitonov: “We provide full-scale CAMO support under our own EASA Part M approval, both for our fleet and third-party aircraft.

“We now plan to add two extra business jets, one heavy and one midsize, by the end of the year.”
