FAI appoints Rudnov to oversee Russian development
Germany's FAI Aviation Group has strengthened its commercial team by naming Victor Rudnov as director of business development for the Russian Federation and CIS, a newly-created role in the company.

Germany's FAI Aviation Group has strengthened its commercial team by naming Victor Rudnov as director of business development for the Russian Federation and CIS, a newly-created role in the company.

Based in Moscow, Rudnov will be responsible for expanding FAI's footprint in the region and aims to capitalise on the company's market position in Europe. “FAI has positioned itself as one of the premier providers of diversified aviation solutions, with 2015 seeing the highest turnover so far,” he states. “This positions us well to gain significant market share in Russia.”

Rudnov, who has previous experience working in the private aviation sector in the UK and Russia, aims to work closely with the company's Russian and CIS charter and medevac brokerage clients.

Group chairman Siegfried Axtmann looks forward to working with him: “It is no surprise that the region's charter market is highly competitive, however it all comes down to the people you have on your team. With Victor on board we feel we are in the right position to be even more successful.”l."
