London-based Sovereign Business Jets has introduced a Hawker 800B to its charter fleet, which will be based at its head office at Biggin Hill airport.

The company, part of AYR Group, launched its charter operations in 2014. Director of operations Glen Smith remarks: “This particular Hawker 800B, G-VIPI, is well known in the UK charter market, and has always been highly regarded. Our entire philosophy revolves around delivering service of the highest quality, and this will be further enhanced as our passengers will enjoy a cabin attendant's service on every flight.”

Smith has previously operated Hawker midsize and believes that this type remains very popular. “It offers excellent comfort over those longer three to five-hour sectors. We will be adding further light and midsize aircraft over the next 12 months.”

The aircraft's cabin is finished in light grey leather with five individual seats and a three-seat side facing divan. It is not subject to owner's release and will be approved to carry pets into the UK through its base at Biggin Hill.
