Titan Airways has been voted 'best passenger charter airline' by BACA members for the third consecutive year. It is the first time that an operator has won the award in three successive years.

The Stansted-based company accepted the accolade at the Guildhall in London late last month at the annual BACA autumn luncheon and excellence awards.

Alastair Kiernan, Titan Airways' commercial director, comments: “We are thrilled to have been recognised once again by the industry for our passenger charter services and would like to thank those who voted for us.

“The three consecutive awards are testimony to the continuing hard work of our dedicated staff, all of whom share our philosophy of going that extra mile.”

Titan Airways employs approximately 270 personnel, based mainly at London Stansted. It holds a worldwide AOC for passenger and freight charters.

London Executive Aviation was named as best general aviation operator at the awards, also for the third year in a row. Chief executive Patrick Margetson-Rushmore says: “We feel very honoured to have won this award again. The whole team at LEA, from the flight crew to the maintenance and operations teams, should feel very proud of themselves for continuing to offer our clients an unrivalled quality of service.”

Adds md George Galanopoulos: “Earlier this year, LEA became part of the Luxaviation Group and this award is testament to our continued dedication to our customers.”
