APS director Norm 'DQ' Dequier has joined the NBAA Safety Committee after the end of APS CEO Paul Ransbury’s tenure as chair, and has also been awarded for his professionalism in aviation.

The first training centre to receive such a designation, APS has worked with its Wyvern Flight Leader coach to demonstrate the effectiveness of its SMS, having implemented Wingman standards into its UPRT operations.

The ‘Every Pilot in Control’ UPRT Mastery Program enhances pilot proficiency and resilience through integrated on-aircraft training, jet-specific advanced simulation and type-specific mixed/virtual reality modules.
