KansasNetJets Europe is bringing forward the delivery of new aircraft to meet rising customer demand. Mark Booth, chairman and ceo, says: "The company has worked with its manufacturing partners to ensure that 39 new aircraft with a market value of more than $715 million will be delivered ahead of the original schedule."
The new deliveries expected in 2008 are from Cessna, Dassault, Gulfstream and Hawker Beechcraft. "NetJets Europe is also introducing four new aircraft types to the fleet in 2008: Hawker 750, Hawker 4000, Falcon 2000LX and Falcon 7X," says Booth. In 2007 NetJets Europe recruited 412 new employees, bringing the current total to 1,653, an increase of 33 per cent to meet projected growth targets, he adds.
NetJets' flight numbers have increased by 55 per cent since 2005. "In response to this growing demand, we have decided to bring forward the delivery of new aircraft, and look forward to another big year in 2008."
