JetNetherlands has added a Citation XLS and a Falcon 2000EX EASy to its managed fleet. Both aircraft are scheduled to be operational before the end of 2007.
Willem de Kruif, md, says the owners placed the aircraft with JetNetherlands after it provided consultancy services designed to select the best aircraft for their needs. He adds: "The good range of the EASy and of the XLS was a major factor in the decision of both the clients."
The aircraft will be chartered by JetNetherlands which already operates Falcon and Cessna aircraft. "This adds to the cost-effectiveness of the operations," sales manager Dorine Buis points out. The 2000EX EASy is an "immaculate" and sought after business jet. "Because we have a 2000EX the aircraft can back each other up thus further increasing dispatch reliability and flexibility," she adds. The XLS is a solid, reliable private jet "that can take you anywhere a midsize jet can go at the cost of light jet travel. It has comfort, performance and reliability."
Home base will be Rotterdam which Buis says is the only airport open during night time for this type of traffic in the Netherlands. "Looking at the night restrictions in Amsterdam we see a lot of movements at the beginning and end of the day that divert to Rotterdam."
Other aircraft in the JetNetherlands managed and full charter fleet include a Falcon 2000EX, a Falcon 20F, an Excel and two XLSs, a CJ2, a CJ1, and a B400A. Buis says: "Our Falcon and Cessna fleet provides us with every option to provide the most efficient aircraft for any particular trip. Our business continues to benefit from our owners' policy of offering a modern fleet of aircraft and of concentrating on long-term contracts."
