Oxygen 4 airs foreign demand
Charter broker Oxygen 4 is sourcing aircraft from Europe because of a shortage of suitable alternatives in the U.K. for trips from England to the continent.

Charter broker Oxygen 4 is sourcing aircraft from Europe because of a shortage of suitable alternatives in the U.K. for trips from England to the continent.

Mark Green, one of three directors who founded the company in March 2005, says: "There is limited capacity of charter aircraft of all types in the U.K. to meet international charter demand so we look to operators from abroad, including those in Germany, the Netherlands and Scandinavia, to service a large percentage of the flights originating here."

Green, who founded Oxygen 4 with Rod Glassford and Steven Jack, says demand for charter aircraft is "phenomenal" with the company's sales increasing in value to £15.8 million in 2006/2007 from £9 million in its first year.
