Why visit ACE ’25?
Two long established air rescue organisations, the German Air Rescue Service (DRF) and the Luxembourg Air Rescue Service (LAR) have joined forces to form a single highly specialised air ambulance fleet, European Air Ambulance.
EAA will continue to maintain its bases in Germany and Luxembourg, covering a total of more than 150 countries. The merged fleet comprises six Learjets and one turboprop each with modern equipment and medication to provide bed to bed international intensive care service. Aircraft are manned by multilingual medical teams trained in emergency and aviation medicine.
The new organisation aims to offer insurers and associated services optimal flexibility through the biggest air ambulance service in Europe. EAA says it is able to accommodate a range of requirements from double stretcher modern transplantation logistics to incubator transport with a specialised paediatric team.
The merger is also intended to simplify and improve customer service through a single point of contact, the EAA's multi-language alert centre in Stuttgart.
