Inaer fleet expands again
European onshore helicopter operator Inaer group is boosting its fleet with the acquisition of nine helicopters from Eurocopter Espana. Inaer's Luis Minano says the group is constantly renewing fleet in Spain, Portugal and Italy.

European onshore helicopter operator Inaer group is boosting its fleet with the acquisition of nine helicopters from Eurocopter Espana. Inaer's Luis Minano says the group is constantly renewing fleet in Spain, Portugal and Italy.

The new helicopters, will be used for emergency medical services, civil protection and fire fighting.

New aircraft include four EC135 and two EC145 for EMS operations. They will be the first used for this particular type of mission in Spain.

Inaer was founded in 2003 from the merger of Grupo Helisureste and Helicsa Helicopteros.

It has 75 operatonal bases and is developing operations in Italy, Portugal, North Africa and Chile, and employs 650 people.
