Eurocopter is setting up a final EC135 assembly line in Spain. Law enforcement agencies have placed a framework order for 48 EC135s. Previously Spanish plants have carried out customisation and produced components. Eurocopter is also setting up an assembly line in Switzerland which has ordered 18 EC635s for the military.
