Twinjet Aircraft is taking delivery of a new Airbus ACJ, G-NMAK. The vip corporate jet this month underwent final completion at Lufthansa Technik's Hamburg facility.
Md John Keeble says: "Immediately following the handover to Twinjet G-NMAK begins commercial charter flights on the company's worldwide AOC in addition to business flying for the owners, the Alkharafi Group."
He adds: "The charter market for large business jets has been active, particularly during the past 24 months, and Twinjet's current A319-132CJ has proved extremely popular with domestic and international clients who have requested the aircraft by registration!"
G-OMAK carries heads of state, government members, entrepreneurs and most recently an international megastar on tour.
Keeble says: "However, at the conclusion of the current 14 week music tour in September 2006,
G-OMAK will be replaced by G-NMAK, and will be offered for sale with, if appropriate, an operating lease attached."
But he adds: "Twinjet is keen to keep the aircraft in their fleet and is confident that demand is sufficient to run both aircraft in parallel."
Twinjet, headquartered at London Luton Airport, is ready to service additional business to and from the United States.
Keeble says: "With a non-stop capability making the west coast of America possible from London,
G-NMAK would complement the medium distance of G-OMAK."
