TAE broadens Centurion service network
Thielert Aircraft Engines (TAE) has expanded its service network for the Centurion 1.7 jet fuel piston engine (as used in Diamond’s DA42 aeroplane) to 70 locations worldwide.

Thielert Aircraft Engines (TAE) has expanded its service network for the Centurion 1.7 jet fuel piston engine (as used in Diamond’s DA42 aeroplane) to 70 locations worldwide.

Following training and examination by TAE, the UK’s Aerotech Aircraft Maintenance, Airtime Aviation and Deltair Airmotive; Transal Aero Service, Vliegwerk Holland and Aero Service of Holland; NAC Maintenance and Tromso Flyklubb of Norway; and Italy’s Sonteo have all received authorisation to perform service and maintenance on the engines.

On September 9, TAE celebrated the fifth anniversary of the first flight of the Centurion 1.7 engine. The Diamond DA42-TDI was recently certified by the FAA.
