Malta-based luxury private charter operator AirX revealed its upgraded Bombardier Challenger 850 in late December, featuring a redesigned livery. The unveiling signals the beginning of a broader fleet transformation for the company.
In addition to its redesigned livery, interior upgrades to the company's Challenger 850 include dark grey wood finishes, bespoke leather seating and seating configurations for up to 16 passengers, designed for mid-range flights. The aircraft is tailored to meet the needs of VVIPs, corporate executives, global brands and government officials.
As part of its five-year growth strategy, supported by its first successful external investment following a series A funding round, AirX plans to expand its fleet by adding 25 more aircraft. The expansion will include models such as the Embraer Lineage 1000 and Airbus A340.
"Our new livery is more than just an aesthetic overhaul," says John Matthews, chairman and founder of AirX. "It symbolises our growth, innovation and unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled luxury experiences with one rule; it always has to make bottom line margins."
