Why visit ACE ’25?
Canada-based charter operator Flygreen has entered into a partnership with sustainability organisation 4Air, signalling an advancement in its commitment to enhancing its environmental impact and expanding its sustainability offerings.
Through this partnership, Flygreen will introduce several new initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of private flights. Flygreen customers will now have the opportunity to purchase SAF and carbon credits through 4Air to offset or reduce the carbon emissions from their flights. These offerings are in addition to Flygreen’s existing tree planting programme through One Tree Planted.
CEO Ryan Saroli says: “Our newly established partnership with 4Air allows us to offer our customers suitable options to fly privately while responsibly contributing to environmental stewardship. It’s about providing more than just travel solutions; it’s about leading the way in making private aviation more responsible.”
The partnership leverages 4Air’s rating system and comprehensive sustainability programmes, which include carbon offsets, SAF availability and a book and claim system.
Flygreen’s commitment to sustainability is making a significant impact. To date, the company has planted 31,369 trees in partnership with One Tree Planted. Additionally, through Flygreen’s contribution matching programme, when a customer plants 100 trees, Flygreen matches their efforts by planting an additional 100 trees.
