The Ambitious Air Mobility Group commits to Lilium’s electric jets
A new purchase agreement for eight Lilium jets boosts the group’s plans for electric air charter services across southern Europe.

The Ambitious Air Mobility Group, a joint venture between Luxaviation Group and The Ambitious Group, has entered into a binding sales agreement with Germany-based electric aircraft manufacturer Lilium for the purchase of eight all-electric jets.

The agreement, which includes an option for an additional six aircraft, follows a letter of intent signed in March 2024 reconfirming The Ambitious Group’s plans to provide electric air charter services. The group’s initial focus will be on key markets in southern Spain, Morocco and the Benelux region.

Behind the scenes of this partnership, Lilium continues to progress with its KPMG-led financial restructuring as part of its broader mergers and acquisitions process. The company is also ramping up its commercial and technological efforts, preparing for the first manned flight of its all-electric jet.

Lilium’s order pipeline now includes 108 firm orders and reservations, 82 options and nearly 600 aircraft under MOUs. At the same time, ASL Group has cancelled its reservation of six Lilium Jet deliveries, although the two parties will re-engage after Lilium’s financial restructuring is completed.
