Belgium-headquartered B-to-B helicopter services provider NHV Group has appointed Lars-Henrik Thorngreen as chief executive officer, effective 18 November, 2024. The appointment follows the departure of Thomas Hütsch, who recently stepped down from his role as CEO.

With over three decades of experience in both civil and military aviation, Thorngreen brings a wealth of expertise and a well-established reputation to NHV. His notable career includes leadership roles within the Danish Air Force, Air Greenland and other prominent helicopter service operations.

From 2015 to 2018, he served as managing director of NHV A/S and chief operations officer for NHV Group, building a solid foundation of knowledge and relationships within the company. His deep understanding of NHV’s operations and strategic goals uniquely positions him to steer the organisation toward sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Thorngreen is widely recognised for his transformative approach to operational processes, fleet logistics and compliance standards. His leadership style emphasises innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement, qualities that have consistently delivered enhanced safety and profitability.
