Manifest, a lifestyle and travel club that provides getaways to destinations within the US and abroad, has acquired Skyroads Aviation, a Part 135 certified operator based at Centennial airport outside of Denver, Colorado. The acquisition is expected to close no later than 31 October.
“While Manifest continues to offer experiences to its members, we've also focused our attention on the evaluation of acquisition candidates in the private aviation sector. During this process, we completed due diligence on more than a dozen Part 135 operators with the intent to acquire,” says Jeff Potter, founder and CEO of Manifest. “We are thrilled to acquire Skyroads Aviation, which will be an exciting first step in an expanded direction for Manifest in providing unique travel solutions.”
Skyroads Aviation was founded in 2016 in Englewood, Colorado, and most recently operated five King Airs on its air carrier certificate throughout the Rocky Mountain region. The current fleet will not be part of the acquisition. However, Manifest has signed its first aircraft lease for a Pilatus PC-12 aircraft, one of the leading turboprop aircraft in private aviation. The aircraft is currently going through aircraft conformity for Part 135 operations. The acquisition of Skyroads Aviation as a Part 135 operator in combination with a lease on its first aircraft will allow Manifest to begin taking advantage of the significant opportunity in the private aviation sector.
“Beginning with this acquisition, Manifest looks forward to adding additional aircraft and expanding its footprint in the private aviation and hospitality sectors over the coming months and years,” Potter concludes.
