Metrojet Haite Business Aviation Company, a joint venture between ExecuJet Haite, a Chinese business jet MRO and wholly owned subsidiary of the Haite Group, and Metrojet Limited, a Hong Kong-based business jet operator, has announced the successful completion of the equity transfer of Funian Aviation to Southern Star Aviation Limited.
Funian was founded in 2017, with its main operation base and offices located in Shenzhen, China. Its focus is providing both aircraft management and high-end charter services, with extensive experience in operating a fleet of Gulfstream G450/G550 aircraft. Funian Aviation holds CAAC Part 91 and has a CAAC Part 135 air operator certificate, CAAC Part 145 maintenance organisation approval and has FAA Part 91 operation experience. The company has also obtained the coveted IS-BAO Stage II certification.
Following the completion of this 100 per cent equity transfer on 26 July 2024, Metrojet Haite Business Aviation Company Ltd. no longer holds any equity in Funian.
