Maven by Midfield is the latest FBO to join the AEG Connect Network. Located at the Oakland County International airport in Michigan, Maven provides a full complement of line and concierge services to business and general aviation customers in the greater Detroit Metro area. AEG Connect members are carefully selected for their world-class service, operational excellence and competitive pricing.

Maven was founded in 2019 by owner and pilot Stephen R Polk. The FBO complements Polk's business aviation services company, Midfield Management, also located at PTK. The experienced Maven team consists of FBO aviation industry experts, veterans, pilots and other industry professionals led by Jason Zimmerman, the FBO's president. The FBO features a newly renovated, spacious FBO terminal, 7.5 acres of apron and ramp space, direct access to the customs ramp and new line support equipment.

A brand-new state-of-the-art hangar is the latest addition to the facility. The 28,500 sq ft hangar includes six offices with over 1,200 sq ft of leasable office space. It features advanced hangar doors providing easy entry and exit regardless of the weather, the latest fire safety systems and a sophisticated electrical infrastructure throughout the entire hangar.

“Maven's commitment to excellence embodies the same values that drive AEG,” says Iris Laria, AEG's director of FBO Sales. “Its outstanding facilities, amenities and service make it an ideal addition to the AEG Connect Network of first-class FBOs.”

“Maven prides itself on excellence in all aspects of our operation, and we are delighted to be a part of the AEG Connect Network,” adds Jason Zimmerman. “We are passionate about this industry and serving customers. Being a network member is another opportunity to demonstrate this commitment. We look forward to welcoming AEG customers to our facility.”

Expanding its customer base is an ongoing strategy for Maven. One upcoming opportunity the Maven team is working toward is the Corporate Aircraft Association (CAA) Preferred FBO survey. Voting gets underway on 1 August.

The AEG Connect Network was founded to ensure customers always receive the highest levels of service and excellence wherever they are around the globe. AEG plans to continue its strategic expansion of the AEG Connect Network. Member FBOs can currently be found at several airports in the US, Canada, Europe and South America.
