TAM AE opens Guarulhos International facility
The initiative marks another step in the expansion of the company, which has been making consistent investments and expanding its area of operations in Brazil.

Brazil-based TAM Aviacao Executiva is opening a new ground handling service base at Guarulhos International airport in São Paulo, where it will have the capacity to service aircraft on domestic and international flights.

The base, scheduled to open on 15 July, will offer customers all kinds of support from bilingual service (Portuguese and English) to 24-hour flight coordination, flight planning, meteorological briefing and NOTAMs; coordination for fuel supply; internal transportation for passengers and crew; immigration and customs procedures; flight attendants, hotel reservations and transportation.

“Guarulhos is the largest and busiest airport in Brazil, a gateway for flights from several countries. This in-house service base allows us to offer complete support and excellent services in a strategic location for executive aviation. This is undoubtedly an added convenience and ease that greatly benefits our customers,” says president Leonardo Fiuza.

With over six decades of operations in Brazil, TAM AE is an IS-BAH Stage II-certified ground operator and has existing FBOs in Belo Horizonte, Manaus and Congonhas airport in Sao Paulo.
