G-OPS marks two decades as it goes from strength to strength
In January 2023, in a joint venture with the German operator DC Aviation, G-OPS opened an FBO in Nice Cote d'Azur airport. The facility is all part of a growth strategy that has taken place over the last 20 years.
CEO Karim Berrandou looks forward with optimism to the next 20 years.

French ground support service provider G-OPS is celebrating 20 years of supplying the aviation industry.

Founded by Karim Berrandou, G-OPS started as a small team with a bold vision: to serve the aviation industry with turnkey services and dedication to excellence. Over the past two decades, G-OPS has become a French leader in ground support services, known for reliability, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Historically headquartered in Paris, G-OPS has quickly established regional offices in the French Riviera, the French Alps region and Morocco to support its growth and to be able to offer its expertise closer to its clients. G-OPS' ongoing investment in technology has enabled the company to modernise its production tool and provide its customers with a great experience.

More notably, the group has been built into a single cohesive platform. In January 2023, in a joint venture with the German operator DC Aviation, G-OPS opened an FBO in Nice Cote d'Azur airport (LFMN). The existing infrastructure has been extensively modernised and optimised to offer customers a high level of quality and comfort. This has allowed G-OPS to provide all expertise, including FBO management, to meet the requirements of business aviation, diplomatic and military flights.

More recently, G-OPS' significant impact on the economic and social landscape was acknowledged by the Paris Region, which nominated the company for its role in driving innovation, fostering economic development and creating jobs.

“We are extremely proud to celebrate this milestone and look back on all that we have achieved over the past 20 years,” says Karim Berrandou, CEO of G-OPS. “As we look to the future, we remain committed to excellence, innovation and making a positive impact in the aviation industry.”

“Service quality and customer experience have always been our top priorities. This strong foundation has enabled G-OPS to become a reference in turnkey global trip support services over the past two decades,” adds Mehdi Soltane, director of customer experience at G-OPS.

In addition to its business accomplishments, G-OPS looks forward to a decade focusing on its corporate social responsibility.

“Looking ahead, we are excited about the future and the opportunities it holds. With a focus on innovation, sustainability and client satisfaction, we are confident that the next 20 years will be even more successful than the last,” states Nicolas Massonnat, VP of business development of G-OPS.

Communication and marketing manager Hyunah Jang says: “G-OPS is a trip support company, offering ground and flight support. We coordinate a lot of services for any aircraft that lands in Paris or our other locations. We have agents onsite that handle operations, including fuel, handling and concierge. Overflight landing and parking are taken care of too. We also provide flight planning. We were originally ground ops but now we’ve widened our scope to offer FBO services.”
