Why visit ACE ’25?
Pueblo Memorial airport (KPUB) in Colorado has reopened runway 8R/26L, now upgraded to provide significant enhancements for traffic to and from the region.
The renovation project, which began earlier this year and closed the runway for 21 days, includes 10,500 square feet of brand new runway surface, ready to accommodate aircraft up to a Lockheed C-5 Galaxy.
Todd Engel, general manager of Freeman Jet Center, says: "We are excited to unveil our improved runway and once again welcome guests to KPUB with smooth access and first-class amenities, demonstrating our continuous dedication to safety, service and customer satisfaction. Our team looks forward to greeting an influx in traffic with the top-notch aviation services our customers have come to expect at Freeman Jet Center, all at competitive rates."
To celebrate the reopening, Freeman Jet Center is offering pilots double AVTRIP Points through July 31, 2024. This is in addition to competitive fuel rates through Avfuel Contract Fuel and as a CAA Preferred FBO.
The runway upgrade perfectly complements Freeman Jet Center's upscale amenities, including a beautiful FBO terminal that prioritises both style and comfort. Guests enjoy well-appointed lobby and crew spaces, complimentary internet access, a computerised weather station and an on-site restaurant.
Freeman Jet Center also offers top-tier refuelling, DLA-approved aviation fuel, ground support, aircraft cleaning, catering, courtesy cars and rental car arrangements. The FBO's spacious facilities also feature expanded aircraft parking and hangar leasing options.
