Sky Valet Connect expands network in France and Greece
The branded FBO network continues to develop through the wider Mediterranean area and the corridor between the English Channel and the Côte d'Azur. It welcomes Saint-Etienne Loire, Corfu, Paros and Aktion airports.

Five years after it launched and opened for business in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and France, Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur's Sky Valet Connect branded FBO network is extending its services to Saint-Etienne Loire and three Greek airports.

Luxaviation Group acquired a majority stake in just Sky Valet Spain and Sky Valet Portugal in May this year, but the French Sky Valet FBOs are owned by Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur and were excluded from the acquisition. Sky Valet Connect remains a brand of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur, and it is continuing to develop and consolidate a homogeneous and coherent network along two main axes: the wider Mediterranean area and the corridor between the English Channel and the Côte d'Azur.

By joining the franchise network in summer 2023, Proton Air Services had already enabled Sky Valet Connect to offer its services at five Greek airports (Thessaloniki, Athens, Mykonos, Santorini and Heraklion) and two destinations in Cyprus (Paphos and Larnaka). Now, Proton Air Services is also launching operations in Corfu, Paros and Aktion.

In France, Saint-Etienne Loire Airport, which also provides ground handling services, has just joined the network. It is the only member from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France's second-largest region in terms of tourism, demographics, GDP and foreign trade.

"With the development of Proton Air Services and the arrival of Saint-Etienne Loire among our franchisees, Sky Valet Connect has established itself as a dynamic ground handling network, offering its members innovative and relevant solutions to help them grow stronger. The renewed confidence of our members demonstrates their interest in our brand, its reputation and prominence in a win-win partnership," says Jean-François Guitard, director of the general aviation and external development business unit of the Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur Group.

Sky Valet now has 42 destinations in six countries.
