HeliNY to provide private jet charters with Eagle Air
The company will combine its helicopter airport transfers with private jet travel through Eagle Air to locations such as Miami, Myrtle Beach, Denver and Chicago.
HeliNY will leverage Eagle Air's fleet of corporate jet aircraft to provide joint offering opportunities for charter clients.

HeliNY, a division of Helicopter Flight Services, has signed a preferred partnership agreement with Air Mobility Solutions to help broker charter flights with Pennsylvania-based Part 135 operator Eagle Air Aviation.

HeliNY is the largest and one of the oldest private helicopter operators in the New York metro area. For more than 29 years it has been providing a range of consumer and commercial services to over 80,000 passengers annually. Now it is expanding its flight offerings to long-haul destinations. The company will combine helicopter airport transfers with private jet travel to locations such as Miami, Myrtle Beach, Denver and Chicago.

CEO Paul Blodgett says: "This opens up opportunities for that exotic getaway to clients and their friends, whether it’s a ski week for the family in Colorado, a corporate retreat or a weekend golfing trip to Myrtle Beach. We’re very happy to partner with our good friends at Air Mobility and Eagle Air Aviation to bring these opportunities to the NYC metro region."

Tyler Sigel, COO and co-founder of Eagle Air Aviation, says: "My career in aviation actually started in helicopters; I love them. When I started our corporate jet company, I still wanted a way to incorporate rotor aircraft. We’ve known the team at HeliNY for years, so we’re very excited to expand our relationship with them formally, leveraging our fleet of corporate jet aircraft to provide joint offering opportunities for charter clients."

Bryan Peterson, CEO of Air Mobility Solutions, adds: "Having worked with both Eagle Air Aviation and HeliNY, I am proud to assist in providing clients with world class travel accommodation. This partnership combines the best of rotor-wing and fixed-wing aviation to streamline the travel process and get clients where they want to be, in luxurious aircraft and with unmatched customer service."

Flights are available under the HeliNY Charter brand.

HeliNY will use Anchor Operating System to streamline its helitours. The platform provides a flight board that displays all HeliNY helicopter models, along with a powerful weight optimiser tool that rearranges passengers to maximise seating capacity for each tour. It provides real-time information on available seats and remaining weight capacity.

Blodgett adds: "Anchor's system, backed by a phenomenal development team, will revolutionise the customer experience at HeliNY. It's a key factor in our business expansion in the Northeast region. Its platform is industry-leading for our tour business, but it also enables us to seamlessly integrate our other offerings, including helicopter airport transfers, customised charters and the specialised destination experiences we are launching this Spring. Anchor is even developing a customisable app for us, allowing our clients to book a flight on their phone."

Nasi Peretz, president and chief technology officer at Anchor, says: "We're honoured to partner with HeliNY in upgrading its ticketing and operational systems. With Anchor's technology, HeliNY can elevate its efficiencies to a whole new level. Our shared commitment to creating amazing experiences perfectly aligns with HeliNY's mission."
