Luxaviation Group’s chief industry affairs officer David Van Den Langenbergh has been appointed member of the European Business Aviation Association’s board of governors during the 2024 annual general assembly. The nomination recognises his longstanding commitment to serving EBAA values and objectives.

CEO Patrick Hansen comments: “David Van Den Langenbergh’s appointment is a testament to Luxaviation’s continuous influence and relentless commitment to the European aviation sector, especially at a pivotal time when the economic winds in Europe are less favoured and when ESG is becoming a decisive factor for our industry. David’s and Luxaviation’s acceptance onto the board of governors highlights the respect and recognition Luxaviation commands as a trailblazer and a trusted industry partner, as well as the leading role Luxaviation is committed to playing in Europe.”

Van Den Langenbergh joined Luxaviation in September 2014 as chief technical officer. He successively became president of Luxaviation Aviation Services in January 2019 and has been chief industry affairs officer since June 2022. He is a member of the board of directors in multiple Luxaviation AOCs, of which one is the only single EASA-licensed AOC for business aviation.

Van Den Langenbergh is also accountable manager for the Luxaviation San Marino AOC, offering an international commercial operation platform for aircraft owners that need a flexible solution combined with a professional, secure and safe aviation environment.

Since 2016 he has been a board member of GAMA, having been the chairman of the European Leaders Steering Committee for four years and an active member of multiple working groups. He is the co-chair of the EBAA-GAMA maintenance working group and chairman of AMAC’s maintenance working group. He confers on a regular basis with EASA, FAA and EU aviation representatives to support business and general aviation interests.

EBAA represents more than 700 companies from across the value chain of the European business aviation industry.
