PC-12 Silent 7 propeller makes good on take off performance
The Silent 7 propeller is EASA and FAA certified for improved take off performance of Pilatus PC-12, PC-12/45, PC-12/47 and PC-12/47E aircraft.

MT-Propeller's seven-bladed MTV-47 Silent 7 propeller is now approved for even shorter take off distances, further increasing the operational capability of the Pilatus PC-12 through EASA STC 10014953 R6 and FAA STC SA02742NY.

The AFMS with details on the take off performance is available from MT-Propeller.

Additional advantages to installing the Silent 7 on the PC-12 series include:

- No engine modifications necessary

- Certified ground roll distance reduced by approximately 10 per cent; AFMS amended

- Certified take off distance over 50ft obstacle reduced by approximately 15 per cent; AFMS amended

- Climb performance improved

- Aircraft noise level is up to four dB(A) less than with the original metal propeller

- Complies with the strict German 2010 Landeplatz Lärmschutz Verordnung noise regulations for unrestricted airport operations in Germany and other European countries

- Cabin noise is reduced by six to seven dB(A) depending on location

Due to its smaller diameter, the seven-bladed MT-Propeller has more ground clearance for less blade tip erosion and FODs.

The natural composite blades provide significant inside and outside noise reduction, they have no life limitation and are repairable in case of a FOD.

They also provide best vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration free propeller operation and have bonded on nickel alloy leading edges for superior erosion protection of the blades.
