Air Charter Service has promoted the hugely experienced John Castellano to to the role of global director, jet card.

Chief executive Justin Bowman comments: "John has excelled in growing our jet card offering and increasing the number of card holders in the US since joining in 2021. Along with working alongside our private jets teams across the region, he has also forged strong relationships with a number of leading airlines, with his main focus being to expand our jet card offering across our 12 offices in North America, in which he has been extremely successful.

"Based on how he has built up the jet card in the US, he is without doubt the right man to oversee the global team and further expand the programme's offerings around the world."

Castellano adds: "Working with with our jet card managers and our sales teams on other continents, we've made terrific strides; we've hugely increased membership numbers and grown programme revenue by 241 per cent in the three years since I joined, and we show no signs of slowing down. We have set the programme up for long-term success, and we have exciting growth expectations over the next few years."

The company has also grown its operations in Germany with a new office in Munich. ACS Germany CEO Caroline Werf says: "Our Frankfurt office opened its doors in 2010 and we later opened a subsidiary office, also in Frankfurt, for our onboard courier offering in 2018. Both operations have enjoyed a huge amount of success since, and we feel that it is now the time to expand in Germany."

Heading up the office will be the experienced David Stocks, who joined ACS in 2017 having previously worked for Air Berlin for a number of years. Werf adds: "David has excelled in his position as director of the private jet team in Germany, and we have no doubt that he has the necessary skillsets to successfully run the new Munich operation."

Stocks says: "I cannot wait to get started here in Munich. We have a lot of customers based in and around Bavaria already and I look forward to forging even stronger relationships with those clients and making new connections, as well as growing a successful team here."
