CHC Helikopter to serve longer on Norwegian shelf
The deal guarantees access to cutting-edge aircraft and highly skilled personnel until the beginning of 2028, meaning CHC can deliver uninterrupted, year-round flying to OKEA’s Draugen oil platform in the Norwegian Sea.

CHC Helikopter Service, the Norwegian division of transportation and SAR operator CHC Helicopter, has secured a four-year contract extension with OKEA on behalf of the Draugen licence, a leading mid to late-life operator on the Norwegian continental shelf.

The extended contract to the beginning of 2028 covers crew change and transportation services to OKEA’s Draugen oil platform in the Norwegian Sea. CHC will dedicate an S-92 aircraft to support the offshore operations from its Kristiansund base.
