Czech RepublicCzech Republic-based ABS Jets has added a Gulfstream G500 aircraft to its Prague-based fleet, coming directly off the production line in Savannah in the US.
With a cabin that can seat 16 passengers, a cruise speed of up to Mach 0.90 and a range of up to 5,300nm, the company believes it is sure to satisfy the most demanding of clients.
Director of the flight section Marek Bavor says: “We really like this new addition to our fleet for several reasons. It is a state-of-the-art, long-range aircraft and is custom-made, so it looks absolutely unique. Not to mention the fact that it’s a completely new aircraft.”
The ABS Jets fleet also includes Gulfstream G550, G650 and G200, Embraer Legacy 600 and 650, Bombardier Challenger 605, Cessna Citation XLS+, Dassault Falcon 7X and Airbus H145 aircraft. Three of these, a Challenger 605, Citation XLS+ and Gulfstream G200, were mid and heavy jet additions made earlier this year, available for charter since April.
The 12 passenger Challenger 605 has a range of nearly 4,000nm and the widest cabin in its category, making it popular for both longer transoceanic flights and shorter trips. The spacious cabin, with club, sofa and conference seating, can be adapted to sleep up to five people. Hot and cold meals can be prepared in flight.
The nine passenger Citation XLS+ offers great mid-size performance with a range of 2,100nm and lower operating and maintenance costs than other aircraft in this category. The stand-up cabin has wide adjustable seats and a large luggage compartment, and can take off and land at smaller airports or short runways.
The 10 passenger G200 is among the fastest jet aircraft in the super mid-size category. It offers a generous cabin, hot and cold catering with in-flight service, the ability to land at less-accessible airports and lower operating costs.
At the time of their delivery, Kralik said that: “Demand already exceeds the time capacity of the aircraft.”
