Black marks more than 5,000 aircraft services at Pampulha airport
In 2017 it was simply a charter company, then Black Aviação branched out into FBO services. Last year alone it gave 1,264 assistances, and so far this year has tended to around 700 aircraft.
Since 2018 until now, more than 19,000 passengers and 1,037 captains have passed through the Black hangar.

Brazil-based operator Black Aviacao is celebrating the milestone of 5,000 aircraft assistances in five years of operation. The executive aircraft charter company, founded in 2017 and starting operations in 2018, has the largest FBO at Pampulha airport in terms of number of aircraft movements, with full service and support for pilots and passengers.

Last year alone there were 1,264 assistances in all and, this year until July, almost 700 aircraft have been helped. From 2018 until now, more than 19,000 passengers and 1,037 captains have passed through the Black hangar. And from Black Aviacao's FBO, aircraft have connected Pampulha to more than 400 destinations across the country.

“The mark of 5,000 attendances shows that we are on the right track. We have always defined ourselves as more than servicing aircraft, as we serve people,” says director Rafael Matos.

Black Aviacao was founded initially as an air taxi company offering chartered flights in executive aircraft to customers in Belo Horizonte and the surrounding region. However, in 2018 it established a hangar at Pampulha and started to offer FBO services, providing hangarage for aircraft and service to customers visiting the airport.
