International Aviation Marketing, a global helicopter sales, acquisition and advisory company, has added Steffen Bay to expand its South American sales sector.

Originally from Germany, Bay brings with him a global mindset. Fluent in five languages, he has developed and won or renewed business in more than 25 countries and his professional experience goes beyond these borders having worked in eight nations, including 10 years spent in Brazil.

While joining IAM from the eVTOL industry, he has gained extensive helicopter industry expertise through previous employment with OEMs Airbus Helicopters and Vertical Aerospace, lessor Waypoint Leasing and operators Era Helicopters, Aeroleo Aero Taxi (now Bristow Brazil) and NHV. He has served numerous sectors and customer groups, from oil rig personnel, search and rescue, emergency medical services, utility, pipeline monitoring, mining, harbour pilot services and training to VIPs in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, and possesses impressive working knowledge with corporate, public, start-up and American and French private-equity backed businesses up to the CEO level.

Currently based in Brazil, Bay looks forward to increasing IAM's presence in Latin America with his extensive network, experience and unparalleled insight into the value chain of the helicopter industry in its entirety.
