Airways academy brings in Mendy to develop Africa
Christine Mendy will play a pivotal role in growing strategic industry partnerships as the Airways Aviation ESMA Group develops its pipelines of trained aviation professionals to meet rapidly increasing African demands.

The Airways Aviation ESMA Group aviation academy in Montpellier, France has appointed Christine Mendy as the new African market business development manager.

With a background in marketing and sales of aviation training products and over 10 years of experience in the aviation industry generally, Mendy has a proven track record in business strategy, brand promotion and sales, and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. In her previous positions, she excelled in drafting commercial proposals, responding to tenders and establishing partnerships and working relations with key organisations such as Airbus Training Centre, the French Army and South Africa Airlines among many others.

Mendy expresses her enthusiasm about joining Airways Aviation ESMA Group, stating: “I am honoured to be a part of and contribute to the development of the African aviation market. I look forward to working closely with the team and leveraging my experience to drive growth and create valuable partnerships in the region.”

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Mendy has also made significant contributions to the aviation community as the president of Women in Aviation International Senegal. Through this role, she has been actively involved in providing networking, education, mentoring and scholarship opportunities for both women and men in pursuing careers in the African aviation and aerospace industries.

“With her diverse experience in sales analysis, prospecting, customer relationship management and coordination of customer service, Christine has consistently delivered exceptional results. Over the coming year, she will play a pivotal role in growing strategic industry partnerships as the Airways Aviation ESMA Group develops its pipelines of trained aviation professionals to meet rapidly increasing African aviation industry demands.
