Why visit ACE ’25?
Alsim has been acquired by Airways Aviation Group, an international network of flight schools and aviation academies, and its partner for more than 20 years. Airways Aviation Group currently possesses five Alsim simulators throughout its network, comprising two AL200, an ALX, an AL42 and its new acquisition, the AL250, which will be installed in Australia.
The AL250 simulator addresses initial phase training needs (PPL, CPL and IR/ME) and is a SEP/MEP re-configurable simulator certified as an EASA FNPT II. In addition, it offers both classic and glass cockpits for each flight model at the simple flick of a switch. This device has been extremely well received since its creation and more than 80 of these have already been installed and in successful operation worldwide.
Janet Dalby, Airways Aviation Australia, Pacific, CEO says: “At Airways Aviation Australia, our goal is to offer unparalleled pilot training to aviation students from Australia and overseas. We are proud of our accredited programmes and partnerships with universities and vocational education institutions. To support our students during their ab-initio training, we are always seeking training solutions that will complement our programmes.
“We chose the AL250 simulator from Alsim Flight Training Solutions because of its unparalleled quality and functionality, and the fact that it rivals any other product on the market. With it being a fully capable training simulator for PPL, CPL and IR/ME, this eliminates the need for us to have multiple devices at our academy.
“Alsim is an expert in flight training solutions, its extensive experience in fixed-wing flight simulation perfectly aligns with Airways Aviation's 30-year history of providing top-quality aviation education around the world.”
Audrey Jeffroy, Alsim's sales director, commented: “It's been a great pleasure to collaborate with the Airways Aviation Australia team for the last couple of months, and we are very proud of this new step in the relationship between Alsim and Airways Aviation Group. We want to thank it for its renewed confidence in Alsim. We can't wait to see the first students flying in the sim.”
