Trimaille renews faith in Alsim with AL250 and ALX
The need to meet forthcoming regulations for localizer performance with vertical guidance led this French training expert to choose Alsim again.

France-headquartered simulator manufacturer Alsim has sold an AL250 and an ALX (multi-engine piston and medium jet) to French flight school Trimaille Aero Formation, located in Toussus-le-Noble near Paris. Trimaille purchased its first Alsim in 2000 and followed this up with another order in 2011, benefitting from the manufacturer's buyback campaign that allows schools to replace their old device with a newer and more technologically advanced model.

The AL250 will be used for CPL and IR training as it can simulate 2D, 3D and PBN approaches, while the A320 medium jet-configured ALX will ensure JOC and MCC advanced training.

Director Jean-Pierre Trimaille says: "We chose Alsim again because we've been using its devices for many years and we know their quality. We wanted to meet the coming regulatory criteria, with LPV-certified simulators. Alsim was able to answer our specific needs, along with advanced MCC and guarantee our simulators will be quickly qualified, meeting our students' demands for a higher level of training."
