Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2022 has confirmed that aerospace engineering and leasing company Sanad Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company, will champion the UAE capital's credentials as a global aviation centre of excellence at this year's expo, taking place 1-3 November 2022 at Al Bateen Executive airport.
Sanad has more than three decades' experience in commercial aviation, engine MRO services and aviation leasing, and is a trusted partner of OEMs including Rolls-Royce, GE Aviation and Pratt & Whitney. During the expo, Sanad executives will join key panel discussions addressing critical industry topics such as MROs and air traffic management and airport security.

Now in its 10th year, the expo has expanded from a business and general aviation focus to industry showcase supporting all elements of civil aviation, bringing an entire cadre of sector-specific resources to Abu Dhabi.

Air Expo 2022 brings together aviation and aerospace industry leaders and professionals with aviation enthusiasts, customers and students to network, exchange ideas and showcase the latest thinking, technology and equipment in general aviation. The 80,000 sqm exhibition is expected to attract 18,000 visitors and host more than 300 manufacturers and suppliers.
The three day event will feature the latest innovations in private jet aircraft, aircraft engines, helicopters, executive charter services, airport equipment and services, avionics systems, insurance and financing. Over 100 aircraft from ultra-light to heavy business jets will be on display for delegates seeking out a variety of aircraft and aviation-related services. This year it will include a new format that divides the exhibition into three main areas: aircraft hangar, chalets and outdoor static display. It will also feature a conference programme providing industry thought leaders a forum to share the latest thinking on general aviation and aerospace developments.
