CAE is set to deploy the first CAE 7000XR series Dassault Falcon 6X full flight simulator (FFS) at its Burgess Hill training centre in the UK. As the exclusive training provider for the Dassault Falcon 6X, CAE has developed an innovative pilot training programme to support the new aircraft type's entry into service.

“The Falcon 6X training programme is a significant step forward in terms of technology and training experience,” says group president, civil aviation Nick Leontidis. “Pilots will be able to fully immerse themselves in their training with expert instructors, digitally-interactive classrooms and the most advanced full flight simulators. CAE's Falcon 6X training programme will give pilots the knowledge and skills they need to confidently fly this new aircraft when it enters into service.”

In addition to the Falcon 6X FFS, a Falcon 8X FFS will be ready for training at CAE Burgess Hill this autumn.

The CAE 7000XR series FFS is the latest evolution of CAE's industry benchmark FFS. Designed in collaboration with its customers, the CAE 7000XR series sets a new standard in level D FFS. Leveraging the latest advancements in technology and training capabilities, the CAE 7000XR series is designed to optimise life-cycle costs for customers and to address new and future training requirements. Enhanced features include the CAE Tropos 6000XR for extreme visual realism, a next-generation instructor office and upset prevention recovery training, and it is also built for lower ownership costs and increased reliability.
