Guardian Jet's Regional Sales Associate School has been preparing three team members for new sales associate roles, where they will assist the company's vice presidents manage their designated US territories.

Connecticut-headquartered aircraft brokerage, appraisals and consulting company Guardian Jet has promoted three of its team members to the newly created role of regional sales associate: Patrick Lynch, John Peters and Blake Sperry.

This role is dedicated to assisting Guardian Jet's vice presidents in their designated territories. Lynch will be supporting vice president Gabriel Bastos within his territory of southern Florida and Latin America; Peters will be based in Las Vegas, Nevada, to assist Russ Piggott in the western region; and Sperry will be supporting Matt Walter in his New England territory. All regional sales associates will assist in establishing and maintaining relationships with the company's aircraft brokerage and consulting clients.

“I want Guardian Jet to be the first point of contact when owners, OEMs, aviation professionals and management or charter companies are seeking advice," says Lynch. “I'm honoured to receive this opportunity. It means so much that Guardian Jet, an extremely well-respected company in the industry, trusts me to represent it in the field.”

In order to prepare for this new role, Guardian Jet created a 12 week programme that developed every skill that is required to enter the field. The Regional Sales Associate School (RSA School) was led by the Guardian Jet team, with instructors such as managing partners Michael and Don Dwyer, president Doc Dwyer and chief operating officer Mike Mikolay. A number of different staff members took the time to educate the regional sales associate candidates on topics ranging from territory management to aircraft buying.

“The opportunity to absorb the knowledge and methods utilised by some of the most successful minds in the industry will be absolutely invaluable to winning clients and expanding our relationships in my territory,” says Sperry. “Putting into practice the top tier content of RSA School will be all the more achievable thanks to the weekly presentations that have taught me how to speak confidently about the unparalleled service we can provide at Guardian Jet.”

After weeks of preparation, the regional sales associates have now entered the field. This new opportunity provides the three with a chance to impact the industry.

“I am excited to continue Guardian Jet's growth," adds Peters. “That has been the goal since I joined the company in 2018. Every year we see more growth than the last. This development is what has given me the opportunity to go into the field and help our business. Russ Piggott has been our only representative in a large western territory, so I am looking forward to helping him establish Guardian Jet's presence even more.”
