Cutter grows Georgetown presence with GTU purchase
Texas is a magnet for big business at the moment, and Cutter is scaling up its presence in the Southwest state. It has purchased the GTU Jet FBO at Georgetown Municipal airport, its second FBO acquisition there.
Cutter Aviation is expanding in Georgetown, Texas with the purchase of GTU Jet.

Cutter Aviation has purchased GTU Jet FBO at Georgetown Municipal airport in Texas.

This acquisition follows the purchase of fellow Georgetown FBO AeroJet in December, 2021 and increases the company's footprint at the airport to 152,000 sq ft of hangar space for based clients and transient traffic and 34,588 sq ft of FBO and office space, including conference rooms, pilot lounge with snooze room, flight planning area, crew car and concierge service.

“Georgetown is one of the fastest-growing counties in the country with some of the largest companies in the world moving to the area,” says president and CEO Will Cutter. “We are very proud to have the opportunity to be involved in the town's growth and to be able to generate jobs while providing first-class FBO services to our clients and visitors.”

Georgetown Municipal airport, located within Williamson County, is a strategic location just 30 miles north of downtown Austin, Texas, making it a great spot for clients travelling cross country and needing a place to stop and refuel.

Will Cutter is the new location's regional manager of Texas.
