Germany-based Atlas Air Service has sold another Embraer Phenom 300 to the US. The company had purchased the aircraft from its previous owner to sell it on to a customer in the US.

Atlas Air Service carried out the entire conversion from EASA to FAA standards and also supported the customer in gaining approval for an American registration. After its completion, the aircraft was transferred by the ferry pilot via Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Iceland to Bangor, Maine. After the obligatory import customs clearance, the aircraft was handed over to its new owner in Indianapolis, Indiana.

“Selling an aircraft abroad, including its re-registration, requires professional expertise and a thorough knowledge of the complex legal aviation regulations," says sales director Hans Doll. "With this sale, Atlas Air Service has once again proved that it can perform an international aircraft trade competently and successfully. As an Embraer authorised service centre for the Phenom aircraft type and a certified repair station for the US FAA, we were able to carry out all steps in-house for the American buyer.”
