Gulfstream Aerospace has appointed Grupo Aeronáutico as the authorised international sales representative for Gulfstream business aircraft sales in Ecuador and Peru. Under the agreement, Grupo Aeronáutico will be responsible for promoting and supporting Gulfstream with customers and prospects throughout the two countries.

“Gulfstream continues to see the potential for significant growth opportunities in South America, especially in Ecuador and Peru,” says Gulfstream senior vice president, worldwide sales Scott Neal. “Adding Grupo Aeronáutico to our representative network will allow Gulfstream to further capitalise on the increasing interest in our full range of aircraft in these two countries.”

Grupo Aeronáutico has a business presence in aviation markets throughout Latin America and has solidified its reputation through the provision of strategic advice, market research, fleet planning, aircraft operations and management, as well as the execution of landmark transactions in the region.

“Our relationship with Gulfstream will help continue to grow Gulfstream's presence in the Ecuadorian market,” adds Grupo Aeronáutico director for Ecuador Jimmy Ballesteros. “Gulfstream is one of the world's premier brands, and with the recent introduction of the Gulfstream G400 and Gulfstream G800, the company now offers the strongest and most advanced fleet in its history.”

“Gulfstream already has a significant presence in Peru in both the super-midsize and large-cabin segments,” says Grupo Aeronáutico director for Peru Juan Pablo Chirinos. “The company is continually setting new standards for safety, performance, innovation and comfort, and we look forward to continuing to grow its presence even further.”

Grupo Aeronáutico will work closely with Gulfstream regional vice president of sales for South America Pedro Ruiz and regional senior vice president of sales for the Western US and Latin America Brent Monroe.
