Why visit ACE ’25?
Having a strong specialised operations division helped German rotary operator Aeroheli to weather the storm of Coronavirus. “As with many other people, we were hoping for a better 2021 than the corona year before, but we had to learn that we still have the same problems and limitations,” says head of flight ops Dirk Franzke. “As temperatures went up again the incoming requests for business travel did as well. Finally, we had the feeling that all work from the first half of 2021 came in in the second half, in addition to the usual business.”
The company's commitment to the east Balkan market, where it is operating a Robinson R66, has started to pay off. “To make sure that we can meet the future demand, an Airbus Helicopters H130 was acquired and will enter service by the beginning of 2022,” Franzke goes on. “We will cover the Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia area with this helicopter. With its large cabin, exceptional view through the large windows and in style and comfort with VIP layout and air condition, customers will have a new experience of travel.”
On the other side of Europe, Aeroheli has been collaborating with Atlantsflug in Iceland this summer and will add one more H125 in the next couple of months.
