Kansas City-headquartered aircraft transaction and brokerage company JetHQ has appointed market research manager Amelia Schaefer and sales manager Karen Blake to its Holmdel, New Jersey office.
Both women have strong aviation industry connections, having served as research analysts at business aircraft market research company AMSTAT. Working with data-heavy accounts, their work benefited customers around the globe.
“This is an opportunity to lead with our strengths in the aircraft transaction world,” says JetHQ founder and managing director Garett Jerde. “Both Amelia and Karen help us deliver the information, metrics and marketplace analysis that give our clients the best value in our space. It helps maximise their return when selling aircraft and guides them in securing their next aircraft at the appropriate price.”
Schaefer, who attended Rutgers University, has worked as both a domestic and foreign market research analyst, handling fixed-wing and helicopter transactions while Seton Hall University graduate Blake handled data reporting, system accounting and aircraft databases for client accounts. They will work closely with sales manager Aman Kapur and marketing manager Roxy Rosales who are based in JetHQ's Dubai office, and with vice president of marketing and sales management Jill Plumb and technical manager Steven Pinkerton at headquarters.
Earlier this year, JetHQ created a Latin America sales division and expanded operations in the US.
