German shared ownership operator WeFly says that it has received a large number of enquiries of late and demand continues to grow. “We have many exotic planes in our fleet, such as the Beech 76 or Piper PA60, but 80 per cent of our fleet consists of Diamond aircraft,” reveals management assistant and maintenance manager Askin Hazir. “The most popular aircraft are the DA42 and DA62 models. We currently have seven DA62s in our fleet, making us, according to Diamond, the world's largest DA62 operator."

Hazir goes on to say that private aviation is booming, with strong growth since the pandemic. The company is planning to increase its fleet further before the year is out, and hopes to be responsible for up to 30 aircraft soon.
